Help with starting up my power macintosh g3?

i own a power macintosh g3 with mac os 9.2. anytime i try to start it up with extensions on, i get an error message that says “control strip extension error type 10″ with a restart button. all i can do is restart. i have tried to zap the PRAM and turning off extensions without success. Please help me turn on my mac.

Try starting up the Mac while holding down the Space bar. It will open the Extension On/Off application, and you can disable the Control Strip extension before the system continues to boot.

There was another Voodoo trick for Mac OS 9 called ‘rebuild desktop’. Hold down Cmd+Alt during startup. I doubt it’ll help, but you know, you never know
